Prerequisites


Tornado Kick

TKT: Cheat 540 Hook. The Cheat 720 is an 360 degree spin from the cheat setup, ending with a hook or crescent kick.  You can also get away with a little bit less rotation, since the hook kick adds to the rotation on the ground.
Two different Cheat 720 Kicks

Single pump


The single pump is the easier version of the two. You just raise one knee up, spin once while keeping it up and then kick. 

Double pump


The double pump is a little bit more tricky. Here you bring your first knee up like in the single pump variation and then you pump your other knee over the other leg to get into the right position for a hook kick. Imagine a tornado kick that transforms into a tsunami in the air. 
They both have their own progression line, so I recommend you to learn both. 
Single Pump 

01 Tornado

Start off with good and floaty tornado kicks. They will teach you how to use your knee to get height. Swing your arms wide around and up to get even more lift. 

02 360 degree spin

Now use the tornado setup for a 360 degree spin. Just do the setup, raise up your knee and spin once. Try to stay as upright as possible, so you won't lose balance when you land. 

03 Add the Kick

All you have to do now is to release the kick at the end of the 360. Spot your target and lean your body away from the kick to get more height and force behind the kick. 
Double Pump 

01 Tornado

The double pump variation also profits from a big tornado kick. Make it high and floaty. 






02 Tsunami

The Tsunami, or stepover hook kick, is very important when you want to learn the double pump variation. Pull your knee over and turn around fast to fire the hook kick. This will teach you the exact motion you need.



03 Fuse them

Now put it together. Setup for a big tornado kick. As you swing up your first leg, jump off and tsunami over the other leg. That means pull your non kicking leg over the other leg. Rotate your hip with the pump. Use your arms to get more lift. Spot early over your shoulder and release the kick. ....Or just do a tornado and cancel it into a tsunami.
Tips

The 540 Kick can also help a lot for the double pump variation. You could think of it as a 540 with a bent kicking leg, into a hook kick. 

Swing your arms wide before your takeoff and then bring them into your body for a fast spin. 

If you are falling forwards or backwards when you land, you are most likely spinning off axis. Try to stay as vertical as possible. Practice the second step of the single pump tutorial. 

Practice your tsunamis and your Cheat 720 double pump will improve at the same time.
