Masterscoot

Masterscoot

Prerequisites

Scoot

Performing tricker: bam.defocus
The Masterscoot is a scoot done with two hands. It is usually swung  into like the masterswipe, but Masterscoots where your swinging leg touches down briefly are still considered Masterscoots.

Because you can push off with both hands and the added vertical momentum compared to the normal scoot, the masterscoot can be quite a bit more powerful in comparison.

01 Scoot

You should be able to do a normal scoot first before you attempt this trick. It's very easy and can be learned in minutes. Try to make the scoot as big and wide as possible.

02 Masterscoot

Just touching down with the second hand does not make it a masterscoot per se. You will need to reach over to the other side with your second hand, so you'll end up with your back facing the direction of travel.

03 Swinging into

To swing into it, your swinging leg needs to literally miss the ground. Any trick that lands in a hyper stance or hook kick position can be used. Minimize the amount of jump and keep your upper body low to the ground, contrary to the masterswipe.
Tips
If you are having trouble with the swing, try to do it in a reversal way instead of missleg. That means let your swinging leg touch down briefly before you swing into the masterscoot.

You can reach over sideways or even fully inverted. It depends on what you want to do afterwards. If you want to swing or pop into a straight backflipping trick, you may want to perform your masterscoot with a lot of inversion. If you are going for more off axis flipping tricks, like corks for example, you may want less inversion.
