Narabong

Narabong

Prerequisites

Tornado Kick

Optional

none
It's a fast and low tornado kick followed up by a hook kick, after landing.

The Cheat setup

The Cheat Setup is basically the same movement as the start of a spinning hook kick but instead of firing the hook kick you swing your leg up to lift yourself off the ground. You can then follow up with an airborne round kick for a Tornado Kick.

01 Tsunami

Let's start with the second half of the narabong. The Tsunami. Remember to spot a target.

02 Tornado Kick

The next step is the first half of the narabong. The Tornado Kick. But for the narabong, you'll want a low and fast one instead of high and floaty, to maintain spinning momentum.

03 Autobahn

The second half is also called autobahn. Step in like you would for the tornado kick but keep your kicking leg bent and hop over into a tsunami. It's a Narabong without the Round.

04 Round-Hook

This step is optional. It's a roundkick followed up by a hook kick. Drilling this will get you used to the leg switching motion for the narabong.

05 Narabong

Now just add a round kick to the Autobahn and you'll have yourself a narabong!

Tips

Try to reduce the contact time in between both kicks. The hook kick should be followed up fast.

Spot on both kicks and try to hit the same target twice.

Rotate your hip with the round kick, so you won’t need to spin much for the hook kick. You hip should face the direction of your spin, while you round kick.

You can try to do this trick slowly first to get a better understanding of it and then speed it up as you improve.
