B-Twist Doubleleg

B-Twist Doubleleg

Prerequisites

Optional

Doubleleg
B-Twist Swipe
This trick is a Doubleleg that is entered from a B-Twist Setup. However the Parafuso might be a little bit more useful for learning this trick, as in both tricks the jumping leg has to catch up with the other to create the doubleleg motion.

01 Butterfly Twist

You should have a solid and preferably high B-Twist. It also helps to know some other variations but it’s not necessary.

02 Parafuso

B-Twist Doubleleg is in my opinion 25 % B-Twist and 75 % Parafuso. That’s why this trick is extremely helpful. However the setup and the takeoff are 100 % B-Twist and that portion of the trick is just as important as what you do in the air.

03 B-Twist Doubleleg

Now you need to put it together. The easiest way to think about it is a Parafuso or Doubleleg that is entered from a B-Twist setup. Setup and takeoff just like you would for a big B-Twist. As soon as you leave the ground, immediately perform a Parafuso / Doubleleg. Don’t waste time and start the doubleleg motion as fast as possible.

Tips

I couldn’t do this trick for a long time until I fixed my setup. What helped me the most is to focus on a powerful dip in the setup for more height and keeping my upper body a bit more upright than in a normal B-Twist. That way it felt very similar to Parafuso to me which I’m very comfortable with.

Don’t forget your arms and shoulders. Enter the trick with wide open arms and then bring them closer together to spin around quickly.
