Cart Full Round

Cart Full Round

Optional

Backside 900
The Cart Full Round is a Cart Full with a round kick upon landing. It becomes rather easy if you just think of it as an horizontal Pop Tornado from a cartwheel.

If you use a roundoff instead of the cartwheel, to takeoff in backside, it’ll turn into a Back Full Round. Think of that as an horizontal, or even inverted, Backside 900.

01 Cart Full

The first trick you should have is the Cart Full. Try to land consistently before you move on to variations like these. If you can even land on one foot (to swingthrough for example), that’s even better.

02 B-Twist Round

The B-Twist Round is a great prerequisite for the Cart Full Round, because they’re almost the same trick. One takes off of one foot and the other from both. The B-Twist Round will give you the muscle memory of spinning once and throwing a roundkick afterwards. However the B-Twist Round can be slightly vertical, while the Cart Full Round should at least be horizontal.

03 Pop Tornado

If you look closely, you will notice that the Pop Tornado is actually a completely vertical Cart Full Round. And it’s easy! That makes the Cart Full Round just a bit harder than this easy trick. Just practice Cartwheel_pop_Tornado first. Then start to add more inversion with the technique of the B-Twist Round. You will eventually be horizontal.

04 Cart Full Round

Now just put everything together. Enter your Cart Full as usual but as soon as you takeoff, think of the Pop Tornado. It really is that simple. Throw your arms up and around to get some additional lift and flip momentum.

Tips

Try to spot the kick if you can. That will prevent you from landing with your upper body low to the ground.

Don’t jump too far! Direct your momentum upwards. The momentum that you carry from your cartwheel will make sure that you flip around.
